I kept telling him no because the company could not afford
another luxury vehicle and I was uncomfortable with the cars on the
books. He was determined he would buy that Range Rover come hell
or high water and that is exactly what he did. He had Deborah to issue
a check behind my back for the down payment. I was furious. Then
he had Deborah flip the script on me. Deborah told Jerome and
Tyrone that I was taking a lot of money from the company without
their knowledge. We had to have another meeting with John, the
corporate attorney, after Deborah had compiled each of the partners’
expenses in such a way that made it look like I had taken out double
what they had. We met in the evening to discuss the expenses and
Deborah sat in on the meeting as well. I knew then I had been set up
by Deborah, it did look as though I had made so much more money
than they had, and John was telling me that I should apologize to
them. Deborah did not convey to them the fact that I had been
working at the company for 18 months before either of them had
joined the company and, of course, it would like it I made a whole lot
more they. She also did not include the expenses I paid while they
were getting a fulltime salary elsewhere. I knew CRAZY was getting
ready to go to a whole new level.
