Our residents and suppliers entrust Hercules with important information. The nature of this relationship requires mainte-

         nance of confidentiality.
Any violation of confidentiality seriously injures Hercules’ reputation and effectiveness. Therefore, please do not dis-
cuss business with anyone who does not work for us, and never discuss business transactions with anyone who does not
have a direct association with the transaction. If you are questioned by someone outside the company or your depart-
ment and you are concerned about the appropriateness of giving them certain information, please refer the request to
your Manager, Regional Manager or the corporate office.
No one is permitted to remove or make copies of any records, reports or documents without prior corporate approval.
Confidential information includes any information which was not intended to be disclosed to a third party whether inside
or outside Hercules, unless on a need-to-know basis. It also includes, but is not limited to: employment information,
non-public information about products, marketing, Hercules’ financial information, customer information and customer
         databases, and Hercules’ trade secrets.

Employees may be required to sign a non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment or condi-
tion of continued employment. Employees requesting clarification or having questions regarding confidentiality should
direct them to their Manager. Employees who violate this agreement may be subject to disciplinary action up to and in-
cluding termination. Current or former employees may also be subject to legal action.

An employee’s terms of employment, including compensation, are held in confidence by Hercules and will not be re-
leased to others. An employee’s signed authorization to release such information must be given to the Human Resource
department before the information is given to a third party (e.g., a mortgage application). All information released about
an employee to a third party may only be released by the Human Resources department.

         7.0 Customer Relations

The success of Hercules depends upon the quality of the relationships between our employees, residents, suppliers and
the general public. Our customers' impression and their interest and willingness to use our services are greatly formed
by the people who serve them. Regardless of your position, you are Hercules’ ambassador.
Here are some things you can do to help give a good impression of Hercules:

                1. Act competently and deal with residents and vendors in a courteous and respectful manner.

                2. Communicate pleasantly and respectfully with other employees at all times.
                3. Follow-up on orders and questions promptly, provide businesslike replies to inquiries and requests, and per-
form all duties in an orderly manner.

                4. Take great pride in your work and enjoy doing your very best.
These are the building blocks for your continued success.

8.0 Gifts from Residents and Vendors
From time-to-time either a resident or a vendor will present gifts to our employees. It is strictly against Hercules’ policy
to accept cash payments or monies from any vendor or resident. If you have received a gift from a vendor, you are to
         notify your Regional Manager immediately.
