The overall market is expected to grow at a steady rate with a forecasted growth rate

of 8% and 9% in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The forecast is projected based on the opinions

of the respondents based on their work that is currently in the production phase, market
expansion and external environmental context that is expected to influence the growth of

the digital content industry and can be summarized as below:

• Animation industry market forecast
The animation industry is expected to experience a slow growth during 2018 and 2019

with a growth rate of 2.05% and 4% respectively. The animation industry is mainly driven by

economics situation as it is the main factors influencing investment, production and the overall

consumption of animation. The research shows that there is a tendency for creators to

increasingly aim to work on projects from overseas markets while production from in country
investments has a declining trend due to problems associated with talent, intellectual

property that is still preventing the growth of the animation industry as a whole
