NCDS past President, Dr. Jim Dolin, poses with the staff of the Tzu Chi Founda on of Long Island’s Dental
Van. They are an interna onal Buddhist medical outreach organiza on. He got involved with the organi‐
za on back in 2022 as a way to give back to the community. As the only oral surgeon on the team, he
handles most of the extrac ons and oral cancer consulta ons. He was at their outreach programs in
Flushing on Sept. 10th and Nov. 10th as well as at the Tzu Chi Chinese School in Oyster Bay on Dec. 15th.
In addi on to providing free dental services, the organiza on also provides free medical services, vision
screenings and eye glasses, physical therapy, nutri onal educa on, stem cell registra ons, even haircuts!
