“When I began accepting patients diagnosed with HIV, I
experimented with a number of holistic modalities. My approach
was loosely theoretical and based on the opinions of others
practicing what others had tried and repeating what other
practitioners halfway believed. I knew there was a natural way to
combat viruses and bacteria without jeopardizing the integrity of
an already damaged immune system. To do my own thing, I had
to think. I could not warm up failed ideas and put them out as my
own.”
