        What Do We Do?
            1. Faculty and staff must usher all students from the hallways into the nearest classroom or a safe area.
Every faculty and staff member should have a plan that allows him/her to lock the classroom he/she is
in. Faculty and staff should have keys/fobs with them at all times.

            2. Faculty and staff must lock and/or secure doors and move students away from all lines of sight from
windows and the hallway. Stay away from windows and doors and try to make your space
look and sound vacant (silence cell phones and devices).

            3. Faculty and staff must have students lie down on the floor if gunshots or explosions of any kind are
heard. Tables and/or desks can be turned on their sides for added protection. According to public
authorities: Turn off the lights - but do not pull down any window blinds.

            4. Faculty and staff supervising students in an outdoor area should remain outside and usher students to
               the nearest safe location.

            5. Faculty, staff, and students need to be prepared to stay in place for an extended period of time. There
will be no use of bathrooms outside of the classroom.

            6. Faculty changing classes or during free periods, go to nearest room.
            7. Faculty and staff must record the students currently under their supervision, and this list will be with
them in preparation for reporting student attendance.

            8. Verbal communication is prohibited (too noisy). If possible sign on to FirstClass and await
               instructions via the News conference.
            9. No one is to be released until the "all clear" tone has been sounded. This will be a different and
               unique, separate sound.

            10. When the lockdown is over, the following steps will be implemented:
                 a. All students and faculty will return to their homeroom for attendance.

                 b. Attendance slips will be delivered to the division Administrative Assistant.

                 c. The Administrative Assistant will report any discrepancies in attendance immediately to the
                     Division Head.

                 d. Final attendance will be delivered to the Front Desk.

            11. All drills will be announced in advance.
