HAZARD COMMUNICATIONS – RIGHT TO KNOW

All Renbrook School employees have the right to know and understand details concerning any and all aspects
of their daily job duties and responsibilities. When these responsibilities include working with materials that
have potentially harmful effects if used or disposed of improperly, information needs to be shared.

The school maintains a database of Material Safety Data Sheets for all materials used on site, which delineate
the proper personal protection, use, and disposal of such materials. This database is managed by the
Buildings and Grounds department who keep copies of the most common sheets in a notebook behind the
Front Desk, with others kept in the Upper School Science Department prep room.

Kerry Doherty is the designated Chemical Hygiene representative and will coordinate with the Buildings and
Grounds staff to share information as necessary.
