LOCKDOWN PLAN

Renbrook has implemented a "Lockdown Plan" in the event that there is some level of serious threat whereby
we need to hide and protect ourselves. Lockdown is defined as a security measure taken during an emergency
to prevent people from leaving or entering a building. Details of the plan are posted under the "Lockdown
Plan" icon on the FirstClass email system. There is also a section that answers frequently asked questions.

Immediate Action to Initiate a Lockdown
            1. If anyone at any time feels that the Renbrook campus is under a serious threat (i.e., hostage, hostile or
suspicious intruder, weapons, wild animal, or extreme weather):
                  a. Contact the front desk immediately by calling the Emergency Phone at Extension 888.
                  b. Give your name, location of the incident and known information of the event and state the
                      verbal code,
"Please start a Lockdown."
                   c. If the Emergency Telephone is not answered, activate the Lockdown signal yourself (see Step
                      2).

            2. If there is not enough time to contact the front desk:

                  a. Activate the Lockdown signal by dialing *62 from any school telephone.

                  b. DO NOT HANG UP THE PHONE. If you inadvertently hang up the phone, the Lockdown signal
                      will terminate.

Action Steps When Lockdown is Initiated
At the outset, the Head of School, Chief Financial Officer, Director of Operations, and Division Heads will be in
charge. The initial responders will be the police department, and they will be in charge once they arrive. There
may be a flood of phone calls, and we should anticipate that parents will try to come to school. Our gates will
be blocked, and Route #44 may be closed.
