A Patriot’s view of the history and direction of our Country



                         Section One.  Creates the executive branch of the president

                          and vice president:  how elected (electoral college) and the
                          terms of office, requirements to hold office, how elected,

                          and national election day.  It further defines compensation
                          only from the federal treasury, and provides for the oath of

                          office.
                              The Electoral College is the Constitutional manner in

                              which the president and vice president are elected based
                              on state delegates (Republic).  Each state has a number

                              of electors equal to their congressional representatives
                              (two senators and representatives based on population).

                              These delegates cast their votes based on their state law
                              – either all votes to the candidate winning the majority

                              of the popular vote in that state; or apportioned to the
                              candidates based on their proportion of the popular

                              votes.
                          It should be noted that this section was amended.

                         Section Two.  Defines that the president is the commander
                          of the military; and state militias if called to serve.  Provides

                          for executive departments and opinions, and authority to

                          grant pardons (except in cases of impeachment).  Grants the
                          authority to make treaties, nominate public officials, and
                          nominate justices to the federal courts with the defined

                          consent of the senate.  It further prohibits the senate from

                          doing the same.  At times of recess, the president may fill
                          vacancies by commission with a defined expiration; no
