I wrote this quote to shine a light on people suffering from depression. The
main character is a young woman repeated on both sides of the collage Gif.
I have split the head to show two different moods, one is dark and sad, the
other is bright and happy. She is trying so hard to calmn herself down and
allow the happy and sad thoughts to be even and not live in only one. The
white and black birds are represen��ve of these two moods. In arabic
le�ers i have spelled the word “excuse me” as she is trying to step away and
keep herself at ease.

For this quote, i designed a two minute 2D clip that shows a story of a girl in doubt of her dreams. She wants to
walk through the path that will get her where she wants to be but she is hesitated because failure scares her, In
the first slide she confesses that its not always easy and i write the work “opstacle” in arabic. Her heart then
pounds and tells her she can s�ll back out before its too late but she begins to remember how good it’s going to
feel when she passes through all the opstacles and reaches the top of her dreams. What ifs begin to wander all
around her mind and cover her with doubt, she walks back and forth not knowing if she should go though with
this or not. For the walk cycle of the girl, i took a video of a friend of mine walking back and forth, sketched it,
and animated it into a walk cycle. She decides to go through with it knowing that this feeling of backing out will
visit her again but she will over come it no ma�er what because le�ng go of what we want will hurt us harder
than the effort we put in. Below is the process i went through when designing.
