Quote (13) :
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think”
Margaret Mead
Controlling hand
Margaret Mead in this quote addresses the importance of proper learning. Children
are not to be treated as puppets that we direct and order in which way we please.
They should be taught how to be crical and creave thinkers as this is a skill that can
be taught and isnt a trait that children as born with. For that i have chosen to write
the word “limits” in red. Liming thwir thinking is quit alarming and should be
stoped before many teachers become reluctant to intervene. The black cloud in the
background is to show that there is no creavity and wonder in this childs brain as
long as he is being forced how to think and in which direcon to go.
Quote (14) :
“We’re all ghosts. We all carry, inside us, people who came before us.”
Liam Callanan, The Cloud Atlas
shadows of people
In this quote, Liam Callanan talks about ghosts we carry inside us. Do you believe you
are living in someone else’s body? Do people really leave us when they die or do they
come back to live as someone else? In the collage are three characters, i have
increaced the transparency of the two men in the backgroung to show that they
have passed away already. The young man in the back has come back to live in the
body of the man on the le (wearing glasses) and aer passing away, he has now
come back to live in the body of the man closest to the front. Which is of full opacity
because he is alive now, but carries someone else inside of him. Coming back and
living in someone else is free of any boundries. There is no rasicm and no disngon.
All people are of the same color and ethnicity to those who have passed away. In
arabic leers i have spelled the words “they exist” and also made them of different
opacies.
