C. The Corporate Treasurer
The Treasurer shall have the following powers and duties:
(a) He/she shall be the custodian of all funds, moneys, securities, receipts and shall take
charge of all collections and disbursements of the corporation;
(b) He/she shall deposit or cause to be deposited all moneys and valuable effects of the
corporation in such banks or trust companies or with such bankers and/or depositories as
the Board of Directors may from time to time designate; and
(c) He/she shall render accounting of the financial conditions of the corporation and all his
transactions as treasurer to the President and/or to the Board of Directors whenever
required.
D. The School President
The President is appointed by the Board of Directors and report directly to the Chairman/CEO.
The President provides executive level leadership to further Institutional goals, vision, and mission, as
well as administrative and operational oversight of the Institution.
The President will exercise collaborative leadership; advise on policy, procedure, and
operational issues; coordinate a variety of activities and resources that support the effective delivery
and continuing enhancement of instructional programs and services to students; may be charged
with leading the operationalization of strategic-initiatives and special projects; and, act as the
representative of the Board of Directors to the Executive Management Committee.
The School President shall have the following powers and duties:
(a) He shall discharge the powers, duties and functions as the School President;
(b) He shall, subject to the control of the Board of Directors, have general supervision of the
business and affairs of the Institution.
(c) He shall submit a report of the operation of the Institution to the Board of Directors
whenever the letter so requires and annual report thereof to the annual meeting.
(d) Provides direct support for and advice to the CEO;
(e) Responsible for school-wide decision-making;
(f) Responsible for the coordination and oversight of the day-to-day internal operations of
the School;
(g) Works closely with the Institution’s lead Academic, Student Affairs, Community Relations,
Financial, and Administrative Services, etc. officers to insure the effective operations,
fiduciary, academic, student success, and legal functions of the Institution;
(h) Provides broad oversight of Academic and Student Affairs, providing high-level leadership
for successful retention and completion initiatives;
(i) Provides high-level leadership for the design, development, and continuing operation of a
comprehensive institutional research department (inclusive of accreditation and grants
functions);
(j) Leads systematic initiatives and is a member of the Executive Committee;
