PD Card Operation

Based on this information, the following Triggers would be expected:

Day Trigger Activity Notes
Another Time-Based Trigger will occur on day 30.
Another Time-Based FLH Trigger will not occur until at least
Time-Based
0 day 30.
Time-Based FLH
The same measurement set will be flagged with both
Triggers.
Another Moderate PD Level Trigger will not occur until at
10 Moderate PD Level
least day 40.
Another Time-Based RLH Trigger will not occur until at least
20 Time-Based RLH
day 50.
Since the machine is shut down at this point, the
measurements will fail due to lack of synchronization.
30 Time-Based The measurements saved due to this Trigger will
indicate this.
Another Time-Based Trigger will occur on day 60.
Another Time-Based FLC Trigger will not occur until at least
day 65.
Time-Based FLC Another High PD Level Trigger will not occur until at least
35
High PD Level day 65.
The same measurement set will be flagged with both
Triggers.
This is the first time that the machine has been running at
FLH since the original Time-Based FLH Trigger interval
expired at day 30.
Time-Based FLH
40 Another Time-Based FLH Trigger will not occur until at least
Moderate PD Level
day 70.
Another Moderate PD Level Trigger will not occur until at
least day 70.
Another Very High PD Level Trigger will not occur until at
least day 80.
50 Very High PD Level
At this time, it would be recommended to start using the
User Defined Trigger to capture more frequent data.
60 Time-Based Another Time-Based Trigger will occur on day 90.
Note that this is a simplified example that demonstrates how some of the Triggers of a
single input interact with each other. There are other factors not to be considered in any real
situation:

• Trigger intervals don’t just take the day into consideration, but the time of day as well.
• This same process is happening on all the other inputs as well; any measurement that
is saved because of multiple Triggers (not just from this input, but from any input) will
be flagged with the relevant Trigger results.

• This example only covers Time-Based and PD Level Triggers; there are other Triggers
that could also be happening.
