Indications of hardware failure include:

• A peak split across more than 2 amplitude windows.
• A peak that appears more than 1 amplitude away from its ideal position.

• A complete peak occurring at more than one amplitude window.
• A peak is missing.

7.3. AC Synchronization

Use this procedure for troubleshooting ac synchronization problems. This is characterized
by the downloaded measurements reporting a ‘No Sync’ status in the IAM software suite.

NOTE:
When there is no ac synchronization signal, only 2 PD Triggers can occur:

• Time-Based Trigger described in Section 4.6.3

• User-Defined Trigger described in Section 4.6.10 (only if enabled,
and only if a minimum Qm threshold is not selected)
