Troubleshooting



              7.3.1.  Check Settings

                        Before gathering equipment to check the hardware and signal integrity, verify that the
                     frequency  setting  of  the  monitor  is  correct.    Open  IAM  and  select  the  monitor  whose
                     measurements are reporting synchronization failure.  Configure the GuardII+ and check the
                     Line Frequency on the General Settings page.

                        •  If the Line Frequency is not the same as the assets’ operating frequency, enter the
                            correct  value  and  upload  the  changes.    Once  this  is  done,  check  to  see  if  the
                            synchronization problem still exists.

                        Also check that the selected synchronization source is correct for each enabled input.
