I’m No Hero
Chapter 1
“Daddy, where is sissy?” I sweetly ask.
“Don’t worry about her Kimille,” Daddy says as he tightens his grip, “You
need to focus for your test.”
“Yes Daddy.” I state as I stumble along beside him scratching the bandage
on my head.
We continue to walk down the silver hallway towards Daddy’s lab. I hate
test days, El always wins and rubs it in my face. I can tell Daddy likes her more
than me, her powers are already stronger than mine and I just want Daddy to be
proud of me.
We enter the testing lab and Elaine is already in her chair with the funny
helmet on. Daddy helps me into my chair and a lady in a lab coat puts my helmet
on and puts stickers on my forehead.
“Hi Kimmie!” Elaine waves at me while smiling.
