GRACE, Exploring Its Riches

G race is a supernatural and divine resource given to
man by God. This much we already know. It is
given as divine enabling for man to please God in
all spheres of human endeavour. So, it is possible for every
human being to please God, irrespective of race, age,
education, gender or background. However, Jesus Christ is
the One who makes the grace of God available to every
human being. There are certain reasons for this.

                                                Jesus Paid the Price

The grace of God came to humanity at a cost. We have
noted that grace was and had been available with God, but it
was a scarce human experience before Jesus came. To make
it available to all men, Jesus paid the required price for
                               grace. As Philippians 2:5-8 states,

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ
Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not
consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made
Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a
bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He
humbled Himself and became obedient to the
point of death, even the death of the cross.”
