Jesus, The Source of Grace

                                           Jesus, the Fullness of Grace

None other but Jesus Christ alone could afford grace. The
Scriptures make us understand that Jesus is the human
embodiment of the grace of God. As John 1:14 explains,

“The Word [Jesus Christ] became flesh and dwelt
among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of
the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and
                                     truth.”

                                              The Revelation of Jesus

One most critical shortcoming of the old covenant was the
absence of Jesus whose revelation the people of old time
foresaw and awaited but the opportunity did not come until
the Lord was born in Bethlehem of Judea in preparation for
the inauguration of the new covenant which was
established when Jesus sacrificed His own body for
humanity. The cross thus became the most important event
in all human history because it brought salvation to man.

Apostle Peter explains this much when he wrote in I Peter
                               1:10-13,
“Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and
searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace
that would come to you, searching what, or what
manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in
