Career portfolios are designed to help you show someone what you
can do, by providing proof through the work samples you choose to
share. The samples you show to a person will change depending on
how you are using your career portfolio. Think of the career portfolio
as your documentation… your personal marketing kit. If you have a
50% chance of getting into a dietetic internship program, what can
you show that coordinator to prove you are a good match to his or
her program?
