b. Provides manpower facilities, technical and logistical support to the researcher as
needed, within the limits of their respective institutional capacities and discretion;
c. Ensures that the designated assignment of their staff is fulfilled in the most professional
and efficient manner, in accordance with the objectives of the project;
e. Ensures the wise use of financial resources and other resources entrusted to the
researcher by the funding agency, and are in accordance with government accounting
and auditing rules.
C.2 Responsibilities of the Project Leader
a. Submits at least five (5) copies of his/her final project output to the Research Office;
b. Acknowledges the college for allowing the use of time and facilities for the conduct of
the project or as specified in the MOA with the funding agency, as the case maybe.
D. Procedure/Guidelines on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Research Projects

All research grantees shall be required to submit Terminal Reports (Appendix 8) of project
results/outputs using the prescribed format. All outputs shall be presented during an in-house review,
seminar or forum to be scheduled and conducted by the college for the purpose.
The individual researcher shall be given the right to publish the result of the research, with
acknowledgment of the host institution and funding agency.
Report on the progress of on-going projects must be submitted within the period(s) specified in
the timetable as approved by the Research Council/Sub- Committee based on the following:
a. Proponents of approved projects with a duration of more than six (6) months shall
submit Progress Reports (Appendix 6);
b. Proponents of approved projects with a total duration of six (6) months or less shall
submit only one Progress Report (Appendix 6) in the middle of its project timetable or at the
time determined by the monitoring Research Office;
