manded by God to call together all Israel for a final
decision:
Then Joshua summoned all the people of Israel
to him at Shechem, along with their leaders—the
elders, officers, and judges. So they came and pre-
sented themselves before God.
(Joshua 24:1 LB)
The prophet of God challenged them to make their
final move. And here are the exact words of God to
these undecided people: ". . . if you are unwilling to
obey the Lord, then decide today whom you will obey"
(Joshua 24:15 La).
Make your final move! God is fed up; He wants a
final decision. Get in or get out—now!
Once again the Holy Spirit is calling God's people to
make their final move. We know the end is near—and
you and I have to make our move now as to what kind
of person we are going to be in the last hours. You are
going to become more worldly minded—or more Godly
minded. You are going to buy and spend and waste
more—or give and share and surrender more. You are
going to draw nearer to God and He to you—or you are
going to draw nearer to your friends and the world and
-they to you.
The final move is on everywhere—it is evident every-
where you look. I have heard it, and so have thousands
of other Christians who want to prepare:
Come, my people, enter into your chambers,
shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves as it
were for a little moment, until the Lord's wrath
against the enemy has passed. For, behold, the
Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabit-
ants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth will
no longer be a hiding place for violent men. The
guilty will be found.
(Isaiah 26:20,21)
