he lives. Thus, chaos and agony have become the permanent feature of human life.
Hence, 'while quantum of happiness is like a grain of barley, the proportion of sorrow in
comparison is like a mountain', is the inference that Man experiences in his life. In other
words, the world is full of chaos and misery and the flames of this reality are scorching
the entire human race. It is therefore the firm conviction of JEEVANVIDYA that,
"Neither God nor so-called providence but Ego alone, manifesting out of ignorance,
which is is totally responsible for sufferings and miseries of the human race. Therefore,
Man will never attain peace and happiness and realise the truth as long as he is in the
clutches of ego which is the very manifestation of ignorance.''
Hence, as long as specific measures are not taken to cure this disease of ego that
develops out of ignorance, the human race can never expect even a ray of hope for
having a beautiful living and for experiencing a beautiful life.
Why Man takes birth?
An appropriate answer to the question, "Why does Man take birth? or Why is he

amalgamation to produce artistic creation. In other words. Man is born only to enjoy the
intrinsic bliss, as also to impart peace and happiness to others. However, this does not
mean that, Man should enjoy bliss first and then only impart peace and happiness to
others. In this context, the following is the valuable principle of JEEVANVIDYA.
"Man acquires the ability to enjoy peace and happiness, primarily through the very
process of imparting peace and happiness to others.''
So also there is another principle of JEEVANVIDYA which states,
"Reaction to action inherently exists in action itself.''
Art of Living
Hence in the process of imparting peace and happiness to others, the very
happiness comes back to the person, who is imparting it. Thus if Man earnestly desires to
experience beautiful life, then instead of performing meaningless rites and rituals in the
name of religion or God, he must make sincere efforts to perform meritorious actions at
the three levels of thought, speech and deeds, thereby blessing the society in which he
lives with fragrance of peace and happiness. However, if Man does not care to acquire
the art of KALA or the art of blending for artistic creation in the form of beautiful life, it is
most likely that, instead of becoming an artist to bless all with artistic creation, he may
