turn out to be a KALIA, the poisonous snake cursing others with poisonous fumes of
grief, sorrow and misery. The following is an important principle of JEEVANVIDYA in this

            context.
"To live life is an art and a person who masters it is a true artist.''

So far, nobody has ever made the human race fully aware on a scientific basis
about the truth that, "To live one's life is an art." Just as it is necessary to study any art

or science in order to master it, similarly it is necessary to study 'the science of the art of
living', so as to master it. It is not possible to discuss in details the science of the art of

living in this book. However, we will deal with the subject of the art of living briefly. In
this context, it is essential that Man must have knowledge about the working of his mind,

which is at the centre of his life. He must also acquire knowledge of the true concept of
God or Cosmic Life Force, since the goal of beautiful life can be achieved only by

acquiring adequate knowledge of these two very important topics. Let us therefore briefly
try to understand first, the true concept of God or Cosmic Life Force.

                                                True Concept of God

There is tremendous ignorance about the true concept of God or Cosmic Life Force
amongst most of the people in the world. Normally people worldwide consider some

unimaginable or inconceivable power as God, without knowing the true nature of this
power. JEEVANVIDYA defines Cosmic Life Force or God as follows :

"The true concept of God or Cosmic Life Force is, it is a natural, intrinsically automatic,
self-regulatory, systematised order, endowed with universal laws of nature.''

The above definition of God or Cosmic Life Force clarifies that God is neither an
idol nor an individual nor merely some kind of power. Hence a question may arise, what

is the nature of God or Cosmic Life Force and whether Man can realise Him.
JEEVANVIDYA states that, "God can be realised or experienced in three ways. Firstly, God

can be perceived all over in the universe in gross form. Secondly, He can be realised in
subtle form and thirdly, He can be experienced in divine form."

Let us first try to understand how God can be perceived in the gross form.

                                                God in Visible form

The omnipresence of God or Cosmic Life Force in the universe can be perceived in
visible form as a 'systematised order'. For example, the planets revolve around the sun
in the sky with specific speeds and the wonderful aspect of this phenomenon is that,

neither the planets nor the sun collapse into the space. This is mainly because the sun

                                                                                                              19
