An Administrative Regulation Governing Grievance Committee Ellglblllty
and Superseding AR·90·9
Section 1. Introduction
Pursuant to Section 25A-10-2 of the Personnel Rules and Regulations, the City of
Farmington shall convene a committee to hear employee grievances.
Section 2, Eligibility
The grievance committee shall be comprised of two non-probationary management
representatives and three non-probationary employee representatives. Persons who wish
to be eligible to serve on a grievance committee shall make a written notice to the
Personnel Administrator indicating an interest In serving on a grievance committee.
Listings of those who have indicated an interest will create the pool for random selection
of grievance committees as the need arises.
Once an individual has been appointed to serve on a grievance committee, his or her
name shall be removed from the pool for one year, at which time he or she may make
written notice expressing a desire to again be placed into the pool of potential committee
members.
Section 3. Training Sessions
Training shall be provided to the committee members prior to the commencement of the
grievance committee hearing.
