The MTER Room shall be located on the basement level and be collocated with the TSER, containing a combination of carrier
service provider equipment, base building headend/core equipment.

Conduits shall connect the MTER to the primary Telecommunications Room (TR) riser stack and secondary riser stack.
The base building network core shall be provisioned with UPS power and emergency stand by power if available.
Carrier fiber will extend from the TSER to the MTER to provide connectivity to the Wide Area Network/Internet.
Fiber optic backbone cabling will run from the MTER to every floor in the Tower riser stack for base building network connectivity.

MAIN TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT ROOM (MTER)

Location, number Basement Level

Description 360 Square Feet when collocated with the TSER – 280 sq ft will be
solely dedicated to the MTER.
Security cage partition shall divide the MTER from the TSER and
separate entrances shall be provided to each space.
The room shall serve the purposes of housing the network core and
security head end systems.

Finishes 4’ X 8’ X ¾” sheets of Fire-Retardant plywood, wall mounted at 6”
AFF on designated walls, painted white.

Lighting LED 24” X 48” pendants hung at min. 9’ AFF to provide 50 foot-
candles measured at 3’ AFF

Suspended Ceiling None. Ceiling slab sealant-finished to reduce dust.
Raised Floor None

Floor Finish Static dissipative coating/sealant

Door 3’ X 8’ outward opening, card access controlled.

¼” X 4” X 20” way copper bar on insulated standoffs, wall mounted
in the MTER
