For about the past ten years, the seniors at Newfound Re- gional High School have been working on a specific type of project that goes beyond the components of the classroom. The students have an oppor- tunity to work on their senior projects, which just so happens to be a formalized version of the Extended Learning Op- portunities that NRHS follows. Over the years, people enjoyed Jeff Day ice sculptures with a full-service carved-out ice bar, a heated covered tent with food and drinks, raffles, and ice skating. In addition, there were all kinds of events for kids, like games, scavenger hunts, and snowman building! People would drive their snowmobiles down to the beach, and everyone en-
