10. GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION
ATTENDANCE & TARDINESS
Excessive absences or tardiness will not be tolerated and may be cause for
suspension or termination. Customary discipline procedures as follows:
Depending on the infraction, discipline is at the Manager’s
discretion and will be a verbal warning, write-up,
suspension or termination.
Work schedules are made up each week to suit the needs of the club. Should
there be a conflict with your personal needs, please make your manager aware by
writing your request in advance. A schedule request should be in writing and
given to the scheduling manager one to two weeks in advance, whenever
possible we will try to accommodate you, but remember, the club must come
first.
Schedules are posted in the office each week. If there are two weeks posted, the
second week is tentative. Changes or trades in current week must have a
manager’s written consent and be initialed. You are responsible for knowing your
weekly schedule.
Please do not assume your schedule will always be the same simply because it
tends to be somewhat “permanent”. It is always your responsibility to check for
any week to week changes, not the managers to contact you with changes.
If for any reason you are going to be late, please extend us the courtesy of a
phone call. Please call and speak to a MANAGER 2 to 3 hours before your shift
is scheduled to begin.
PAY PERIODS
Employees are paid biweekly. Checks will be in the manager office after 3PM on
the Friday following the end of the pay period.
BREAKS
Please do not leave the floor without notifying a manager. You will be allowed to
take a break before 9PM at which time you may retrieve cigarettes or other
personal items for using during your break. Your bar must be watched by another
