Dream Girl Dollars (DGD)
Dream Girl Dollars are Shotgun’s house money. Guests can buy them with a
credit card as an alternative to getting cash from the ATM. This is an
open and close transaction. We DO NOT run tabs for Dream Girl
Dollars. Only bring the amount the guest asks for and not an amount
requested by an entertainer. Guest must sign the "chit" (the piece of paper that
has the amount of dream girl dollars) every time they order Dream Girl
Dollars. This verifies that the customer wants the amount of Dream Girl
Dollars that they just received. If the ordered DGD amount is greater than $100
then you must get a Manager signature as well.
There is a 15% surcharge on DGD purchases. Example: guest orders $100
in DGD's. Their credit card will be charged $115.
DGD's are good for table dances, to tip the entertainers or support staff, and to
pay for food and drinks. If a guest uses DGDs to pay for drinks you can trade
them into the bartender same as cash. Let a manager know if customer is
using DGDs for drinks. If a customer tips you with DGDs you must trade
them in with the cashier at the end of your shift.
9. ENDING YOUR SHIFT
If you are working until close, you will be responsible for Last Call and final clean
up. Last Call is usually given at 1:30am and lasts about three songs. This is your
time to be sure each of your guests knows Last Call has been announced. Ask
your guests if they wish to continue to add anything to their tab before closing..
When the last song of the night is announced, all Waitresses should have closed all
Credit Card tickets. Waitresses may have only one cash ticket open at this time, as
their tabs should have been closed during Last Call.
.
DO NOT PICK UP ASHTRAYS UNTIL AFTER THE BUILDING IS
CLEARED! We don’t want guests putting out cigarettes on clean tables or the
floor.
Everyone should help floor staff remove all drinks from guests and clear the floor.
Also, help gather glassware throughout the club and return to the bar.
