newspaper in an effort to stay abreast of current events and happenings in
sports.
3. DIFFICULT OR UNRULY GUEST
There may be occasions when the ingestion of alcohol may cause one of
our guests to become unruly or belligerent. If you feel you are ever in
danger or in a situation beyond your control, remove yourself from the
situation and notify your Manager.
4. ALCOHOL AWARENESS
Shotgun Willie's strictly adheres to the liquor laws of this state. It is your
job as bar personnel to strictly enforce these laws and our company
policies in order to keep our liquor licenses.
As a leader in the industry, we respond to the need for intelligence and
responsibility regarding the consumption of alcohol. The manager will
take all necessary steps to educate the staff about alcohol awareness and
the applicable laws. Below are some of the major laws that are used
nationwide. All bar personnel are required to maintain current TIPS
certification or comparable alcohol awareness training.
SUMMARY OF POLICIES AND LAWS
You must adhere to the following policies:
1. Do not knowingly allow an intoxicated person into the club. Please
notify the manager if an intoxicated person does enter.
2. Do not knowingly allow an intoxicated person to leave our club with
the intention of driving.
3. Offer cab service or other possible means of travel to prevent an
intoxicated guest from driving.
4. Offer complimentary coffee or drinks to intoxicated persons in order
that time will help to sober them.
5. We do not “back up” more than 2 drinks.
