(Birthday, Trivia, VIP, Participation, etc.) This will help your tips. Get
involved with your guests.
Complimentary drinks are to be rung in the POS system under a "Comp"
tab. At the end of the night, your comp tickets should match the amount
of drinks rang into this tab. At the end the evening, the manager will close
out the tab for you and you will turn in your comp tickets with your checkout.
2. SPILL TICKET
Waitresss should be well acquainted with the beverage operations' spill
rules. In most cases we do not replace spilled drinks. If an entertainer should
spill a guest's drink, she will be asked to replace it. The reasons or the spill
are as follows: you ordered the wrong drink, drink is unacceptable to the
guest, you cannot find guest who ordered the drink, etc. At the end of the
evening the Manager will ask you to explain spilled drinks and will close
them out.
3. VOID TICKET
Voids consist of any drink or food that was NOT prepared but incorrectly
punched in to the POS system such as mistakes or 86'd items.
4. CREDIT CARD TICKET
WE DO NOT RUN CASH TABS. Any Waitress that chooses to run a Cash
Tab is subject to termination and will be responsible for it's payment should
the guest walk out. If a guest would like to run a Credit Card Tab with you,
please follow these guidelines. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover
and American Express.
OPENING CREDIT CARD TABS:
Ask for the guest's credit card and matching valid identification. Do not
accept a card that has expired, or a card that says Jane Doe when the guest
is John Doe. We do not accept credit card type gift cards
For every credit card transaction, you must get the following:
1. manual imprint of credit card
2. the ID or license number
3. customer signature on imprint
4. the three-digit security code (on back of card)
