(b) For obtaining any authorization under Foreign Trade Policy, applica-
tion fee has to be paid to DGFT, for which all duty credit scrips issued
under chapter 3 can be utilized. But only the original duty credit scrip
holders can avail this benefit.
5. Market and Product Diversification
(a) The Focus Market Scheme and the special focus market scheme
now include Norway and Venezuela respectively. Focus Market
Scheme includes 125 countries, while special Focus Market Scheme
includes 50 countries.
(b) Focus Product Scheme includes 126 new products (approx.), which
consist of items from engineering, electronics, chemicals, pharma-
ceuticals and textiles sector.
(c) Under the Market Linked Focus Product Scheme (MLFPS), around
47 new products from engineering, auto components and textiles
sector have been added, MLFPS also has 2 new countries as new
markets, i.e. Brunei and Yemen.
(d) With respect to the items falling in chapter 61 and 62 of ITC (HS),
the MLFPS is being extended from 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 for
exports to USA and EV.
(e) Exports of high-tech products would be incentived and it would be
separately notified by 30 June, 2013.

(f) The existing list of towns of export excellence for ceramic tiles and
apparel exports now consists of towns of Morbi (Gujrat) and Gurgaon
(Haryana). These towns shall be eligible to get benefit under the
ASIDE scheme.
6. Incremental Exports Incentivisation Scheme
(a) For the exports made during Jan- 2013 to March 2013, the incremen-
tal Export Incentivisation scheme has been announced by the Gov-
ernment on 26.12.2012. The exports made to USA, EU and Asia can
avail this scheme. The benefit under the extended scheme should be
calculated on the annual basis.
(b) This scheme includes several additional countries, such as 53
countries of Latin America and Africa have been added with the
objective to raise India’s share in these markets.
7. Facility to Close Cases of Default in Export Obligation
When there is a default in export obligations belonging to advance
authorizations and EPCG authorizations, then government receives re-
quests for grant of relief to close cases. If the required duty along with
