2.2.2    Senior Operations Managers and Operations Managers

         Senior Operations Managers and Operations Mangers are responsible and accountable for:

         •  providing a positive health and safety culture across sites
         •  briefing all new safety information to supervisors and employees in a prompt and effective
            manner
         •  ensuring all accidents/incidents are investigated to prevent reoccurrence.
         •  ensuring all hazards are dealt with effectively included where appropriate suspending work
            until arrangements can be made safe enough to continue.
         •  ensuring company standards in the workplace are met at all times.
         •  effective local implementation of site health, safety and welfare arrangements
         •  identifying relevant training needs and implementing where appropriate
         •  providing detailed induction training for all new starts and when employees transfer sites.
         2.2.3    Site supervisors

         Site supervisors are responsible and accountable for:

         •  providing a positive health and safety culture across sites
         •  briefing all new safety information to employees in a prompt and effective manner
         •  ensuring all accidents/incidents are reported to operations management.
         •  ensuring all hazards are reported and where necessary suspending work until arrangements
            can be made safe enough to continue.
         •  ensuring company standards in the workplace are met at all times.
         •  supervising all employees to ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements
         •  effective local implementation of site health, safety and welfare arrangements
         2.2.4    All Employees

         All employees are responsible and accountable for:

         •  following Essential Safe Behaviours and safety, health and welfare rules – carrying out
            activities and using equipment as per instruction and training
         •  co-operating with managers about safety, health and welfare
         •  applying due care, attention and good sense at all times to ensure the health and safety of
            themselves and their fellow employees.
         •  promptly reporting all accidents and incidents to their supervisor
         •  promptly reporting all hazards and concerns to their supervisors
