Research Aims

The aim of this research and design project was to improve the air

travel interactions for inexperienced travellers through designing

an interactive solution.

Through research and analysis, the different points of interactions

for air travellers before, during and after air travel were discovered.

These interactions had to be investigated to understand the pain

and pleasure points during all stages of air travel. A thorough

understanding of these points aimed to explore what factors

influence air travel plans for travellers and why do some people

avoid air travel.

After developing extensive familiarity of the stressors surrounding

air travel interactions, the existing solutions to these problems were

studied and the gaps in them discovered. The research aimed to

find relevant data that could be used to ideate and design a

complete solution which fills in these current interaction gaps and

improves the travel experience for inexperienced travellers.
