        your line is busy, tthey will be pplayed your "PPersonal busyy" greeting instead of yourr default greeeting.
        Confifigure an extended absencee greeting

        One of the personnal greetings tthat you can record is an ""Extended Abbsence" greetting. If you record this greeeting and
        selecct it as your default greetinng, then you wwill be given tthe option "AAllow callers tto leave a meessage". If youu do not
        selecct this option then callers wwill be prevennted from leaaving you messsages while yyou are absent.

        Overrride your defafault greeting until a date oof your choicee
        If youu wish to override your deefault greetingg until a specified date, se elect the alterrnative greeting you wish tto use from
        the "override greeeting" drop‐down, and connfigure the timme and date that you wishh it to be usedd until. You can then
        speciify what shouuld happen when the expirry date is reacched:

              reset to default ‐ the syystem will auutomatically revert to playiing your defaault greeting

              send a nootification ‐ yoou will be sent a voicemail telling you too change youur greeting, buut your override greeting
               will remaiin active until you turn it ooff.

        Use ssame greetingg as primary mailbox
        If youu wish to use the same greeeting as your primary grooup mailbox, ssimply select "Same as primary" as youur default
        greetting.


        Recoording a messsage

        A number of controls are proviided for recorrding your meessage.




                              Starts recording. Thhis will overwwrite any messsage you have previously rrecorded.





                              Plays bback your recorded message. This actioon will be unaavailable if you have not yeet recorded a
                              message.



                              Stops recording or playing the mmessage.

                             This coontrol allows you to adjustt the gain of yyour microphhone. While reecording, thee
                                            lightts above this control will show how louud the signal is from your mmicrophone.
                              If the ggain is set corrrectly then several green lights should appear whilee you are recording. If onlyy
                              one orr two appear, then the gain is set too loow and your mmessage will be too quiet. If red lights
                              appear then the gain is set too hhigh and yourr message willl be distortedd.

                             This coontrol allows you to adjustt the playback k volume. You can mute oor un‐mute playback by

                              clicking the   or   icons, and adjust the sliider to set a pparticular voluume level.
