2.4 Wall Coverings
2.4.1 White Tile (Feature)
In both new build and retro fit projects, the White
(feature) tile should generally extend from the
bake and serve, through the sneeze screen and
into the customer area. The white tile finish will,
as a rule, make up 1/3 of the length of customer
area wall before a change in wall finish occurs.
In all instances the project specific drawings
should be referenced.
All tiles must be laid with 4mm grout joints
throughout.
NOTE: White feature tiles are supplied by Waxman Ceramics
ref: jade/white 200 x 500mm ceramic tiles. Tiles to be stack
bonded in a landscape format, with all adhesive, trims
and Rocatex/CG 2 WA Ultimate Grout (colour anthracite)
to be supplied by Waxman Ceramics.
In all new concept stores the white (feature) tile
is to be used throughout Bake and Serve and on
all walls within customer view, as well as coming
forward into the customer eat in area to a
suitable junction with a contrasting wall finish.
