2.5.4 Window Bulkhead
Where a shopfront window head is higher than
the nominal suspended ceiling line dictated by
beams or other obstructions, then the difference
in height must be made up using a bulkhead
finished in grey laminate board to match the
shop front internal finish. Bulkheads must be
set back a minimum of 1200mm from the
shopfront line.
General recommendation to use grey laminate
board, refer to project specific drawings.
Grey laminate board / oak engineered
boards (to match timber ceiling beams) are
acceptable.
