What is the virtue of i%u2019tikaf in the month of Ramadan?I%u2019tikaf in Ramadan is very virtuous, especially during the last ten days. This is because i%u2019tikaf leads to the performance of acts of obedience and distances one from prohibitions. Whoever performs i%u2019tikaf during the last ten nights will be of those who stands in prayer in Laylatul Qadr.Allah (swt) says, %u201cThe Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.%u201d%u2018A%u2019isha (ra) narrated, %u201cThe Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to perform i%u2019tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan until he died.
