Normal and emergency brake pressure indicators failed; monitor
utility and auxiliary hydraulic system pressures respectively. ACAWS
Generator 3 and 4 load and voltage indications failed.
T/R 2 and T/R 4 load and Main dc bus voltage indications failed. GROUND
APU panel RPM indicator failed. APU will continue to run;
monitor APU EGT.
TAKEOFF
TCAS audio inhibit failed. Consider selecting TA ONLY mode
for any condition in which TCAS RA commands would not be
desired: airdrop (ramp/door open, paratroop door open), low FIRE/SMK
NORM level (GCAS alerts, windshear alerts).
P and CP PITOT HEAT FAIL (C) ACAWS will not be reported.
Airspeed or altitude readout differences may indicate pitot tube PRES/OXY

Under deck smoke detector (No. 1) failed. ENG/PROP
MAIN TR 3 FAIL and MAIN TR 4 FAIL (C) ACAWS inoperative.

inoperative.

CAUTION
A BIU reset should only be performed if the potential LANDING
loss of a currently operational system or function is
acceptable in order to recover a failed system (such
as TCAS or the GEN FAIL ACAWS). Aircraft systems DITCHING
which interface with a failed BIU may remain in their last
state if the BIU lost 1553 bus communication but is still
powered. Therefore, resetting a failed BIU could cause BAILOUT
some systems which are still operating to subsequently
OPER fail if the BIU failure is due to a non-recoverable fault. FAULT LG
