The study was delimited to the first 100 workers and students from Pangasinan who
are members or involved in MLM. The study was delimited to the full time members who are
involved in MLM. The researcher used convenient sampling due to constraints of time, resources,
and accessibility.
The data gathered were statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for the
Social Science (SPSS) version 19. Frequency counts, percentage, mean, t-test, analysis of
variance (ANOVA), post-hoc Tukey HSD, and Pearson r coefficient which were used to test the
significance of the mean differences and correlation across variables.
Majority of the respondents are females belonging to the age bracket of 31-40. Out of
100 respondents 65 percent were graduated in tertiary level. Most earning 10,000 below monthly
and very few are in the salary bracket of 31,000- above. The extent of risks involved in multi-
level marketing in terms of products, prices and fees, nature of business, moral and ethics, and
marketing method “moderately extensive”. There are significant differences and relationships
between the extent of risks involved in multi-level marketing across the variables: sex, age,
educational attainment, occupation, monthly income, and multi-level marketing engaged with.
In the view of findings and conclusions of the study, the researcher recommends
orienting the workers and students about multi-level marketing to ascertain the legality of
the company. Second, conduct a seminar that pertain the nature of the business, products
offered and prices. Third, MLM should be closely monitored by the authorities. Fourth, have
consumer information campaign program regarding MLM. Lastly, for future master in business
administration researcher, he may conduct as a similar study including variables other than those
used in the study to increase the depth and breadth of the study.
ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ORGANIC FOOD RESTAURANT
RUBY C. DILAN
This study aimed to determine the viability of establishing an Organic Food Restaurant
in Urdaneta City. Specifically, this study ascertained the profile of the respondents, their levels
of awareness, preference and acceptability of organic food and the feasibility of putting up an
organic food restaurant.
The following summarizes the findings of the study:
1. Majority of the respondents were below 40 years of age, female, single or solo parent, college
graduate, and earning more than 8,000 pesos per month.
2. As to the level of awareness of respondents about organic food, the computed overall
weighted mean was 3.85, equivalent to “Aware.” All of the indicators utilized obtained a rating
equivalent to “Aware.”
