associated in their level of instructional management practices and 5) the problems encountered
by the tourism instructors are associated in their level of instructional management practices
and 5) the problems encountered by the tourism instructors in their instructional management
practices were found to be moderately serious.
On the basis of salient findings of the study and the conclusion drawn, the following
are hereby recommended 1) since majority of the respondents are young and have earned only
their MA units, they should take their own initiative to pursue their graduate and post-graduate
studies in a reputable institution to enhance their personal and professional growth 2) the
tourism instructors should aspire the excellent performance in their competence on instructional
management practices to better equip their students with skills and knowledge thus enabling
them to become productive graduates 3) the tourism instructors through the assistance of
their deans should take bold steps in resolving their instructional management to improve their
craft I instructional delivery. Tourism instructors are encouraged to attend relevant trainings to
updates and upgrade their competence in instructional management and further studies on the
level of competence of tourism instructors on their instructional management practices should
be undertaken to further strengthen the competence of instructors along this area and in a wider
             parameter using other variables.

TECHNOLOGY TEACHERS: BASIS FOR ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
                                       PASTOR O. MARCOS JR.

age, civil status, highest educational attainment, teaching position, net home pay, number
of years in teaching and number of relevant seminars/trainings attended for the past three

The descriptive method of research was used and the questionnaire checklist was
employed in gathering the data. To address the problems in this study, the statistical measures
were used for data analysis and interpretations. These are the frequency counts (f) and
percentage (%), the average weighted means (AWN) the analysis of variance and the Pearson
product moment of coefficient correlation (r) were used.
Based on the analysis and interpretation of data, the following salient findings were
drawn 1) majority of the respondent teachers belong to age bracket 26-30 years old that is 11
