Question: When I go to the SBA Data Capture screen, I cannot see the candidates to input their
SBA marks. What could be the reason?
Answer: There may be several reasons why you cannot see the candidates, the:
1. teachers were not assigned to the candidates at the time when the candidates were

being registered
2. teacher was not assigned to the particular subject by the Admin
3. User working with the SBA Data Capture screen was not assigned to the subject by the

Admin
4. candidates might have been assigned to the incorrect teacher
5. centre could have made amendments or late entries but did not forward the data file to

the Ministry or the Ministry did not forward it to CXC. You should run the report in the
ORS called ‘Amendment Forward Status Detailed’ to ascertain whether the amendment
file was forwarded to the Ministry or to CXC. If not, the centre should forward the file
to the Ministry (or the Ministry asked to forward to CXC) and then alert the Ministry to
forward the file to CXC.
