Question: Why is the system not allowing me to import the spreadsheet with the candidates'
personal details?
Answer: The excel file might not have been saved as a .csv
OR
The file might not have the required 13 column heads. If it has the required column heads, may
be the data keyed in the columns might not have been in the correct format.
OR
Candidates who have written CXC’s examinations before might have been placed on the
spreadsheet – the spreadsheet is for new candidates only.
OR
Candidates with hyphenated names might been included. Hyphens should be removed from
the spreadsheet. After the file has been imported into the ORS, the hyphens should added.

Question: How is it that I cannot select the Re-sit or Transfer option for a candidate who was
registered last year?
Answer: Please ensure that the candidate's previous registration record from last year have
been selected. If the candidate was registered as New, the Re-sit option would not be
available. Check to see whether the candidate was eligible to carry forward the SBA scores
from the previous year. If the Transfer option is from a Unit completed previously, then carry
out similar checks as in the case of the Re-sit option.
