            4. Please describe your experience in coordinating, tracking and reporting out on the implementation
of organizational goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Starting from when I worked in local public health programming. I was fortunate because I worked on
local programming and execution compared to the design. That orientation has really helped me
working in the policy world. Learning about at the federal level what types of performance metrics
different government entities use to determine if they are fulfilling their mission and purpose. Moving
on from government service, when I worked in the non-profit world, I helped implement a number of
programs. We were looking at each investment that you make as a government, how can you
determine the outcomes you are receiving and how can you effect that. Here I work in a more
targeted way. We create the agenda and do records management, we do have some metrics around
              that.

            5. Please describe your experience with electronic filing systems as it pertains to this position.

Most of what we manage is a permanent record. I guess that's the same for your Board. We use Laser
Fiche, where individuals from other parts of the county can access records all online. We do have
records going back before that but they are not all digitized yet.

We also have electronic filing systems that are just within the office like a share drive, we also use
SharePoint. So it is something that I do have familiarity with.

My other point is that regardless of what tool you use. It's all the same in terms of what documents
you should be keeping and for how long.

            6. Please describe your experience in evaluating technology and operational procedure utilized in an
administrative department and your approach to implementing change, if needed.

Right now the County is looking at implementing SharePoint. I am involved in interdepartmental
workgroup. The IT for the County is on it. A number of different departments that are currently not
properly stored and indexed are in this workgroup. So again, that would be my starting point. Once
you know the type of department or agency - that's where you need to start. And find out what your
counterpoints are using. From there you can use a more formalized RFP and recruitment process and
get approval from your governing board and embark on that process. Have to phase in technology.

            7. Please describe the roles in which you have had a relationship with a board of directors, and what
your role was in those examples. Can you provide an example of when you have had to research a
regulatory item and present your findings to the Board?

In my current role we work directly with the Board of Supervisors. Our role is to make sure they have
the information they need. That everything is set up and ready to go on the Board day - that we are
collecting and collating them and giving them to the chair. We make sure that the sound is working.
We also have sub committee meetings - there are two supervisors on each of those.

An example that I can think of is that in 2017 the State passed a bill, passed a change to how
legislative bodies websites should look. It was a minor Brown Act modification, with the county we
have five different governing bodies and a number of other special districts. The law said, now
