4. Please describe your experience in coordinating, tracking and reporting out on the
implementation of organizational goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
A lot of that in my experience is skewed towards a financial perspective. The bulk of my
professional experience has been with wharton - I always partnered with senior
leadership and helped with 1, 5, and 10 year goal setting rate and looking at different
metrics including the amount of people coming through our facilities and whether we
would need to build out an additional campus. The goal was always to expand.
5. Please describe your experience with electronic filing systems as it pertains to this
position.
I actually had a very, very large project in 2015, where in order to meet our retention
regulations. We had to do a massive migration from paper to digital. I utilized
Laserfiche. In my current position I also provide financial information and provide
documents around our retention schedule.
6. Please describe your experience in evaluating technology and operational procedure
utilized in an administrative department and your approach to implementing change,
if needed.
Something that I helped to spearhead at the Wharton school was spearheading
approximately 400 people to utilize our space for their start-up. We began with a
simple Outlook calendar. They wanted to reserve a conference room. We quickly
realized that this is not sustainable. So I, along with our executive team, worked to find
a reservation system that would be somewhat self-service so we could communicate
easily what the parameters are. We finally landed on a software called Scata which is
an interactive scheduling platform. By the time we left I developed an RFP so that we
could have our own software system.
7. Please describe the roles in which you have had a relationship with a board of
directors, and what your role was in those examples. Can you provide an example of
when you have had to research a regulatory item and present your findings to the
Board?
So, in my roles at the Wharton School, I had to develop monthly reconciliation,
quarterly, and yearly, and present them to the trustees of the University. In terms of
having a relationship with an executive team and having to report, I have lots of
experience doing that. I also do that with our agencies in terms of researching
regulatory issues with the Board. I recently research tax fees and whether they were
allowed. I presented my findings to Council.
