2.1 Transducer Pressure Below Sensor Range

1. Error code A 01 displays on an Area Alarm Module.
Yes No
↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. The shutoff valve is open.
Yes No
↓ → Open the shutoff valve. If this solves the problem, go to “Final
Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 3.

3. Transducer is connected to the pipeline.

Yes No
↓ → Connect the transducer to the pipeline (refer to procedure 4.20
on page 4-50). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions”
on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 4.

4. Transducer has a slow steady flash on its heartbeat LED.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 5.

5. If the problem still exists, call Hill-Rom Technical Support at
(800) 445-3720.

2.2 Transducer Pressure Above Sensor Range

1. An Area Alarm Module displays error code A 02.
Yes No
↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. Transducer has a slow steady flash on its heartbeat LED.

Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 3.

3. If the problem still exists, call Hill-Rom Technical Support at
