2.3 Transducer Communication Error

1. An Area Alarm Module displays error code A 03.
Yes No
↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. Transducer is connected properly.
Yes No
↓ → Connect the transducer properly (refer to procedure 4.23 on page
4-62). If you need more information about how to connect the
transducer, refer to the MedPlus TotalAlert™ Alarm Network—
Conversion Kits Installation Instructions (is554). If this solves
the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to
step 3.

3. Transducer has a steady flash on its heartbeat LED.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 4.

4. If the problem still exists, call Hill-Rom Technical Support at
