2.5 Incorrect Transducer

1. An Area Alarm Module displays error code A 07.
Yes No
↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. Transducer is programmed for the correct type of gas.
Yes No
↓ → Connect the proper gas-specific transducer (refer to procedure
4.23 on page 4-62). If you need more information about how to
connect the transducer, refer to the MedPlus TotalAlert™ Alarm
Network—Conversion Kits Installation Instructions (is554). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 3.

3. Transducer has a slow steady flash on its heartbeat LED.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
Otherwise, go to step 4.

4. If the problem still exists, call Hill-Rom Technical Support at
(800) 445-3720.

2.6 Transducer Program Errors

1. An Area Alarm Module displays error code A 10.
Yes No
↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. Transducer has a slow steady flash on its heartbeat LED.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.23 on page 4-62). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
