2.13 Area Display/Transducer Fault
1. Area Display/Transducer Fault displays on the Master Alarm.

↓ → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

2. The Area Alarm Module is connected to the Master Alarm.
Yes No
↓ → Connect the Area Alarm to the Master Alarm (refer to procedure
4.9 on page 4-26). If this solves the problem, go to “Final
Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to step 3.
3. The transducer is connected to the Area Alarm Breakout P.C. Board.
Yes No
↓ → Connect the transducer to the Area Alarm Breakout P.C. Board
(refer to procedure 4.18 on page 4-46). If this solves the
problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, go to
step 4.
4. The Area Alarm Module is operating properly.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the Area Alarm Module (refer to procedure 4.9 on page
4-26). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page
2-7. Otherwise, go to step 5.
5. The transducer’s LED is flashing at a slow steady rate.
Yes No
↓ → Replace the transducer (refer to procedure 4.20 on page 4-50). If
this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.
