Diversity:

The diversity amongst the learners in terms of culture, linguistics, race, intellectual
performance and socio-economic status is acknowledged and accommodated by the
school. The school works closely with the parents and PDYCAD at UJ to accommodate
all their learners. The school requires educators that will not only embrace and
accommodate diversity but also learn how to incorporate and facilitate these diversities
in their lessons. In turn this will help the teachers enhance their pedagogical content
knowledge in teaching the curriculum.

Questioning:

Questioning is an important teaching strategy to use to ensure engagement in a lesson.
I is vital to test prior and acquired knowledge and effective in identifying misconceptions.
This method also allows for critical thinking and stimulates inquiry. The school should
thus hire educators that can use this strategy effectively to ensure that classes
embraces collaborative teaching methods and that traditional authoritarian methods of
teaching are avoided in the classrooms. This strategy involves both the teacher and the
learners as both can ask questions.
