Teachers are creative agents:
Creativity is important to stimulate an interest in learning. Learners tend to become
more engaged when they find a topic to be interesting. A teacher should thus plan in
advance for lessons to ensure that the lesson is informative and interesting. This will
stimulate self-learning amongst the learners due to a deeper interest in the subject
being stimulated.
Role model:
A trencher wears many hats for different learner. One of the most important roles a
teacher has to a learner is that he/she is a role model to one or many learners. This
means the teacher must lead by example and motivate the learners in terms of their
dreams and goals. The teacher must be aware that learners look up to them and lead
by example to ensure that they are a positive role model.
